Steve "Robbo" Robinson has built a solid reputation as a quietly diligent grip, with a strong focus on drama for the big and small screen.

Steve is valued for his quiet, no fuss approach. As a best boy grip he is practiced in coordinating personnel, pre-rigging locations and planning maintenance, so that the key grip can focus on his on-set duties.

As a seasoned remote head technician, Steve has operated Arri SRH and Ronin 2 systems with a multitude of platforms, scenarios and weather conditions.

Steve holds the following licenses and accreditation:

• Heavy rigid truck licence
• WorkSafe Licence to Perform High Risk Work
  • CN (Non-slewing mobile crane > 3 tonnes)
  • SB (Basic Scaffold)
  • WP (Boom-type Elevated Work Platform Operation > 11m)
• Working with Children Check
• Current passport
